Don Esch is the former Chairman, CEO, and President of Bettcher Industries, a world-leading developer and manufacturer of powered precision cutting tools for meat processing and industrial applications with distribution in more than 50 countries. He simultaneously served as CEO of subsidiaries Gainco Inc., a food processing systems manufacturer, and Exsurco Medical, a medical device company he founded in 2011. During his tenure, Esch spearheaded significant international expansion, led the company’s transition to an ESOP, and in 2017 oversaw a majority sale to Morgenthaler Private Equity. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles at Hoover Universal, Leggett & Platt, Invensys/APV Baker, and Plasti-Line. He serves as Board Chair of ACRT Services and as a director of Bird Technologies and Norwalk Furniture. Don holds a B.A. in Economics from Albion College and an M.B.A. from the University of Oklahoma.
